MACLEAN BOWERS

Mr. Bowers was born and raised in San Diego, California. He has diverse experience in bodily injury litigation, business litigation, corporate litigation, and entertainment law. 

Mr. Bowers graduated in 2018 from the University of California, Irvine, with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. He received his Juris Doctor in 2022 from California Western School of Law and was admitted to the California Bar in 2023.

 
 

PRECIOUS CASTILLO

Ms. Castillo’s practice focuses on insurance defense litigation, with an emphasis on automobile liability and uninsured/underinsured motorist (UM/UIM) matters.

Admitted to the California Bar in 2024, Ms. Castillo is also a licensed attorney in the Philippines and is fluent in both English and Tagalog. She is committed to keeping clients informed, providing timely updates, and making sure they understand every step of the process.

Before joining the firm, Ms. Castillo gained valuable experience at a family law firm, ensuring cases moved forward smoothly while providing clients with clear guidance and support. Prior to her admission to the bar, she worked as paralegal at firms handling plaintiff's personal injury firm, family law, and civil litigation matters, including nuisance abatement, business disputes, and intellectual property. This diverse background gives her a well-rounded perspective and a strong foundation in both litigation strategy and efficient case management.

Drawing on her experience across multiple practice areas and roles, Ms. Castillo brings a practical, organized, and client-centered approach to every matter she handles.

 

TIFFANY CHAEY

Tiffany Chaey’s practice focuses on insurance defense litigation, including matters involving bodily injury, premises liability, habitability, and professional liability. She is admitted to practice in California and New Mexico. 

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Chaey practiced primarily in insurance defense and general liability litigation, handling cases involving personal injury, premises liability, and trucking and transportation. She also offers valuable perspective from her experience in public entity counseling, including fellowship roles with New York State and federal agencies.

Ms. Chaey earned her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School and her Bachelor of Arts from New York University. While at Brooklyn Law School, she was a merit scholarship recipient and received the BLS Public Service Gold Award in recognition of contributing more than 1,000 hours of service to nonprofit organizations.

Outside of her legal practice, Ms. Chaey enjoys playing golf, watching musical theatre, and traveling. 

 

J. RODNEY DeBIASO

Mr. DeBiaso is a versatile practitioner who has conducted all aspects of civil litigation, including many Superior Court jury and court trials.  He has extensive experience in Business and Commercial Litigation, Real Estate Litigation, Automobile and Premises Liability, Trucking and Common Carrier Liability and Employment Litigation.

Mr. DeBiaso received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia in 1971.  He received a Juris Doctorate cum laude degree from Western State University, College of Law in Fullerton, California in 1981 and was admitted to the California Bar and the U.S. District Court, Central District of California, in 1981. 

 

ZACHARY LAW

Zach Law is an attorney with a focus on personal injury and civil litigation. Known for his personal approach and sharp attention to detail, he works closely with clients to build a relationship that allows him to better understand their individual needs.

Before entering private practice, Mr. Law gained hands-on litigation experience through an internship with the Veterans Legal Institute where he was able to work closely with the veteran community and serve those in need with legal services.

Mr. Law graduated with a JD from Chapman University Fowler School of Law in 2022. He has experience handling a range of matters including personal injury, construction defect, real estate transaction disputes, and trust and estate litigation. He graduated from the University of Utah in 2018 with a BA in film.

Outside of work, he loves to participate in sports leagues, including beach flag football, basketball, and softball. He also enjoys trivia nights, travel, and a quiet moment with a new book and an iced coffee.

 
 

BENJAMIN M. LONG

Benjamin M. Long joined Reisz Siderman Eisenberg in 2024 and is a member of the Firm’s Litigation Practice. He represents individuals, insurers, corporations, and limited liability companies in complex litigation matters, with a primary focus on real estate disputes, habitability claims involving California landlord-tenant law, and personal injury defense.

Mr. Long has experience resolving high-stakes disputes through both settlement and dispositive motions. His practice includes defending large-scale premises liability suits involving numerous plaintiffs, as well as handling a wide variety of personal injury claims. He advises clients throughout the litigation process, from initial pleadings, discovery, settlement negotiations, all the way through trial preparation, with a strategic emphasis on efficient case resolution.

Before joining Reisz Siderman Eisenberg, Mr. Long gained valuable experience in mediation, estate planning, and worked as an independent contractor for over eight years. He served as a Court Appointed Mediator for the Superior Court of Los Angeles, where he successfully facilitated mediations involving business, labor, and community disputes. He also gained experience in both private practice and public interest settings, including a trusts and estate practice in Washington, D.C., and Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County.

Mr. Long is a graduate of Pepperdine University School of Law, Malibu, CA (J.D., 2024); Certificate in Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute, and Arizona State University (B.S., Political Science, summa cum laude, 2020).

When he is not advocating for clients, Mr. Long enjoys playing tennis, watching football, and pursuing creative outlets such as screenwriting and music. A lifelong musician, he has performed in both jazz ensembles (bass) and orchestras (upright bass). He also maintains a strong interest in mediation as both a professional skill and a personal passion.

 

AMBER McCOMAS

Amber McComas’s practice focuses on personal injury defense and broader civil defense litigation. Before transitioning into civil practice, Ms. McComas began her legal career as a prosecutor, gaining significant courtroom experience and developing a strong foundation in evidentiary analysis, motion practice, and advocacy. Her background in criminal law gives her a unique perspective in evaluating claims, assessing risk, and crafting effective defense strategies.

Ms. McComas earned her Juris Doctor from Pepperdine Caruso School of Law in 2024. During law school, she refined her advocacy skills through hands-on training and developed an interest in practical, client-centered litigation.

She strives to offer attentive, thoughtful representation tailored to each matter. She is dedicated to achieving efficient, practical, and favorable outcomes for the individuals and entities she represents.

 

NAVEED MINOOFAR

Naveed Minoofar’s practice focuses on the defense of civil litigation actions. He represents insurance carriers and individuals in personal injury matters, including claims arising from motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and other tort-based disputes. Mr. Minoofar brings a detail-oriented, strategic, and client-centered approach to each matter, emphasizing thorough analysis, effective communication, and practical resolution strategies.

Prior to joining Reisz Siderman Eisenberg in 2025, Mr. Minoofar practiced as a workers’ compensation defense attorney, representing insurance carriers and employers in all phases of California workers’ compensation litigation. In that role, he developed litigation strategy, conducted discovery, and advocated on behalf of clients in contested proceedings.

During law school, Mr. Minoofar concentrated on developing strong litigation and analytical skills. He externed for the Honorable Judge Reyes-Bordeaux of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California, where he conducted extensive legal research and drafted memoranda addressing complex issues arising under the Bankruptcy Code. He also gained experience while externing with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, broadening his exposure to federal employment matters. In addition, he spent time at a plaintiff-side personal injury firm, where he assisted with case development and was exposed to all stages of personal injury litigation.

Mr. Minoofar earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from California State University, Northridge, and his Juris Doctor from Pepperdine Caruso School of Law in 2025. He was admitted to the State Bar of California that same year.

Outside of his practice, Mr. Minoofar enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, and visiting the beach with his dog.

 

JAKE SANTANGELO

Jake Santangelo is an experienced litigator who has won at trial and brings a depth of experience to his commercial litigation practice. Mr. Santangelo brings business savvy to his work, having experience as a business owner and app developer. Beyond commercial litigation, he previously worked in public service as a public defender and was a White House Intern in the Obama Administration.

Mr. Santangelo earned his Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. He earned the Parker School Recognition of Achievement in International and Comparative Law and was a Staff Member on the Columbia Business Law Review. For his undergraduate degree, he graduated with High Honors from Michigan State University with a degree in Political Science – Prelaw and was in the Honors College. He is licensed to practice law in California, New York, and Michigan. He is a member of SAG-AFTRA, the actors’ union.

 

ABBY K. SULLIVAN

Abby Sullivan’s practice includes a range of personal injury defense matters, including rideshare and truck accidents, as well as uninsured/underinsured motorist (UM/UIM) claims, as well as professional liability cases, with a focus on real estate-related disputes.

Abby earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she was actively involved in student leadership and advocacy. She served as Treasurer of the Student Bar Association, Vice President of the Women’s Law Caucus, and Organization Liaison for the Employment and Labor Law Society. During law school, Abby gained valuable experience in labor and employment litigation, working on cases involving wage and hour disputes, employment discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination.

She is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, and University of San Diego School of Law Alumni Organization, and is licensed to practice throughout the state of California. Outside of her legal practice, Abby enjoys creating art, running with local run clubs, exploring Santa Monica, playing tennis and pickleball, and spending time with her cat.

 

DOMINIC J. SUPPLE

Senior Associate

Dominic J. Supple is a dedicated litigator and has extensive experience in matters involving premises liability, wrongful death, traumatic brain injuries, traumatic amputations, burn cases, government tort claims, construction defect, auto accidents, and products liability. Dominic also has experience in defending habitability and breach of contract actions.

Dominic is a Northern California native, born and raised in Corte Madera, CA. He received his undergraduate degree from Dominican University of California with a BA in History. He received a full scholarship to Golden Gate University School of Law and graduated cum laude in Spring of 2021. Dominic passed the bar in 2021 and continued his focus and passion in personal injury litigation. He has significant experience on both sides of the ball, representing Plaintiffs and Defendants. Dominic understands that dedication, compassion, and hard work are the keys to being a successful litigator.

In his free time, Dominic enjoys fishing, cooking, hiking, watching football, restoring Jon boats, and spending time with friends and family.

 

MADISON THOMSEN

Dedicated to client advocacy, Ms. Thomsen is committed to helping clients navigate difficult legal situations with practical and accessible advice. Before attending law school, Madison worked as a compliance specialist at a university, where she developed a strong foundation in analyzing and implementing complex regulations. She earned her J.D. from UC Law San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) in 2024. During law school, Madison clerked in habitability and tenant law, gaining hands-on experience in that field. After graduating, she practiced family law and played a key role in preparing cases for trial, sharpening her strategic thinking and problem-solving skills in a high-pressure environment. Madison’s experience enables her to turn complex regulations into simple, digestible procedures.

 

ERIC TRAN

Mr. Tran was born and raised in Southern California. He has experience in lender liability litigation, real estate litigation, replevin actions, judgment collection and workers’ compensation defense.

Mr. Tran graduated in 2017 from California State University, San Marcos with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Literature & Writing Studies. He received his J.D. in 2021 from Western State College of Law and was admitted to the California Bar in 2021.

 

HARSHITA TRIPATHI

Harshita Tripathi works on the firm’s civil litigation matters. Her practice focuses on defending clients in premises liability, construction defect, and a broad range of personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, uninsured and underinsured motorist (UM/UIM) claims, and other civil defense disputes. She approaches each case with a strategic, detail-oriented mindset and a strong commitment to effective advocacy.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Tripathi worked in transactional law practices, including private equity and capital markets, where she developed strong strategic thinking, document analysis, and issue-spotting skills in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

Ms. Tripathi is licensed to practice law in California and India. She speaks fluent Hindi and Urdu, as well as introductory Bangla, allowing her to effectively communicate with a diverse range of clients.

In addition to her legal practice, she is a certified yoga instructor and a trained judo player. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, reading books, playing soccer, painting, crocheting, and watching movies.

 

HARRISON WHEELER

Harrison Wheeler is a member of the firm’s Civil Litigation practice. He primarily handles habitability matters, while also working on personal injury, professional liability, construction defect, and other civil defense disputes. His range of cases provides him with a practical understanding of how issues develop across different areas of litigation, particularly in matters involving extensive factual records, multiple parties, and claims that evolve over time.

Mr. Wheeler approaches his work with clarity and organization. He focuses on distilling complex information, identifying the facts that drive outcomes, and giving clients a clear sense of both strategic direction and the immediate decisions ahead. His practice includes drafting motions, managing written discovery, and coordinating strategy among attorneys, carriers, and other stakeholders throughout the litigation process.

Before joining Reisz Siderman Eisenberg, Mr. Wheeler worked on employment, labor, and entertainment matters, giving him practical insight into how disputes develop and the real-world considerations that shape them.

Mr. Wheeler earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School and graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California with a degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Law. He is admitted to practice in California.

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, he enjoys exploring new restaurants, reading, and staying active outside the office.

 

MIRTH I. WHITE

Senior Associate

Mirth White has over 25 years of litigation, transactional, and law and motion experience with a diverse background in personal injury litigation, premises liability, civil rights, and insurance coverage issues.  

Ms. White was born in Illinois and grew up in New Hampshire.  She received her A.B. in Liberal Arts at Sarah Lawrence College in NY before earning her J.D. at Whittier Law School in Hancock Park, CA. While in law school, she was a Lead Articles Editor for the Law Review, graduated magna cum laude, and won multiple American Jurisprudence Awards.  She was admitted to the California Bar in 1994.

She began her legal career as a law clerk in the corporate legal department of a large insurance company, where she focused on the analysis of insurance provisions in multi-state policies, escheats and assisted the Corporate Secretary with Board of Directors issues.  From there she developed her skills at AV rated firms in Los Angeles and Mono County.

JOHN W. MCCONNELL III

Mr. John “Jay” McConnell is a founding shareholder of the firm. Mr. McConnell has extensive experience in litigation of products liability cases; architects/engineers, attorney and insurance agents/brokers malpractice defense; environmental/ latent injury coverage issues; construction litigation; and the defense of municipalities, police officers and general liability matters.

Jay graduated cum laude in 1971 from the University of Southern California with a B.A. in History; received a J.D. in June 1974 from California Western School of Law, California Western Law Review; University of Southern California School of Law (third year); was admitted to the California Bar and Federal Bar in November 1974.

 

MARK A. SCHENKMAN

Mark Schenkman is a trial attorney with over 38 years of experience litigating and defending personal injury and habitability cases. He has over 25 jury trial verdicts and has mediated and arbitrated hundreds of cases resulting in successful verdicts and settlements for clients.

Mark is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and has spent most of his legal career practicing insurance defense litigation.

Mark received his bachelor’s degree from UCLA and his law degree from Pepperdine University.

He continues to make his home in Studio City, where he was born and raised.
